Leadership

Matt Fisher, President – East

Matt Fisher serves as President of Pike Electric East. He joined Pike in 2009 as a Senior Financial Analyst, and subsequently worked as a Director of Special Projects, Vice President of Special Projects, Operations Vice President, Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President of the Southern Division before being elevated to his current position in 2023.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration from the Wake Forest University Babcock Graduate School of Management.

Ed Scott, President – West

Ed Scott serves as President of Pike Electric West. He joined Pike in 2021 as Vice President of the Project Management Office and served as Region Vice President and Senior Vice President of the Western Division before being promoted to his current role.

Ed has more than 25 years of experience in the utility industry, starting as an apprentice in the field and working his way up to positions of leadership.

Ed holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University.

 

Lamar Kearson, Senior Vice President

Lamar Kearson serves as Senior Vice President of Pike Electric’s Eastern Division. He joined Pike in 2017 as Vice President of Special Projects and subsequently has worked in a variety of leadership positions at Pike. Lamar has worked in the utility space since 1997 and held a series of executive positions in his career prior to his joining Pike.

Lamar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University.

David Sorrick, Senior Vice President

David Sorrick serves as Senior Vice President for Pike Electric, leading the Southern and Florida regions. David has over 40 years of industry experience working in operations and construction for multiple utilities.

David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Florida.

Iliana Rentz, Senior Vice President

Iliana M. Rentz serves as Senior Vice President for Pike Electric, overseeing Transmission and Substation construction and operations east of the Mississippi. Before joining Pike, Iliana held senior leadership roles in the utility industry.

Prior to her energy career, she served over twelve years in the U.S. Army, including a combat deployment to Baghdad where she directed more than $100 million in reconstruction projects.

Iliana holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the Kogod School of Business at American University.

Jason Williams, Senior Vice President

Jason Williams serves as Senior Vice President for Pike Electric, co-leading the Transmission and Substation east team. Jason has more than 24 years of experience in the industry with a proven record in transmission and distribution construction and maintenance operations, resource management, construction management, asset plan development and execution, organizational dynamics, and major storm restorations.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Studies from Florida State University.
